Love it? Hate it? Let me know and tell me why! This is my first terrarium that I’ve made and I’m happy with how it came out but I would love comments, concerns, suggestions etc.

In the terrarium we have 3 capensis with one being the Alba variety. There’s also 3 little burmanniis. The grass in the aquatic part is Utricularia graminifolia. Enjoy!

Just curious if it would be structurally ok like that.
Hi!

Yes I did! I took a 10 gallon, turned it upright and then siliconed on a front panel to hold water. I also cut out a door and attached that as well. I added a drain near the bottom on the front for easy maintenance. If you have an extra aquarium I recommend the conversion! It was much easier then expected.

Thanks! Hopefully I can keep it alive!

Is that pumice stone you used for basically the foundation for the plants? Like the rock gardens from Sarracenia Northwest?

Yes! The bottom layer is basalt cinder/pumice, and on top of that is a layer of weed tarp so my potting mixture doesn’t fall through. Then I used a peat moss/LFS/orchid bark mix for the soil. Once I planted my plants I got some moss from around the house as a top layer.
