It has warmed up this week, next few days in the high 60's. Started dividing but quickly ran out of room to put the new pots. going to look into a kiddie pool.

Whoa! Great growing!! I am super jealous of you all in the southern and south-eastern US with the ability to grow some huge plants 8-)

What type of Sarracenia is that? Looks like a beast of a plant.

A tip: when you do this, stack 2 kiddie pools in case the inside one cracks or gets punctured.

I feel compelled to post.
I received one of these divisions from optique, and it had a huge root cluster. Sealed in a ziploc with a slug of sphagnum around the roots, stabilized in the packaging to prevent bounce-age in transit, and already putting up a couple of pitcherlings.
Also, as optique said, it had the start of a flower stalk coming up, already over an inch long.
I can't wait for this plant to take off in Tennessee.
Thanks optique.

that was the sphag that grows like a weed in my pots. tuck some in your media shaded by the plant and it will cover the pot by winter. I have a three gallon bucket of it i removed .
