Greetings all. I thought I would share some really cool pictures of from my DCXL that displayed false vivapary. As the plant came out of dormancy, it started to produce a massive flower stock. As it grew, little traps started to grow from the stem. By May, the flower stock started to produce seeds, and the little traps growing on it matured. In June I decided to cut the stock (reluctantly) and separate the traps. I ended up cutting over 30 little traps from the stock, each without their own root system. I wrapped each little trap in live moss, and placed them in a germination station with the lid on. Concerned about root rot and dormancy, I decided to take them out and replant them. To by joy and surprise, each trap pulled from the stock had taken on roots of their own. I have them currently accumulating to the outside (they were under marshydro 300W indoors). The mother plant, which I was worried about, has since grown very well. Attached are the photos through the process. I am curious as to how they will look come spring. Happy Thanksgiving all!!
