hi again,
so i started growing a second Nepenthes from
my original plant, and now there is a third plant
growing from the same stem ,
which is AWESOME , i may become addicted to Nepenthes as well

I love basal shoots(who doesn't?). I heard that a person putting keiki paste on the dormant nodes on a Nep and the plant produced a basal shoot on the node. Haven't tried it for myself yet.

never thought i would get into growing Nepenthes,
but there becoming just as rewarding as growing flytraps

Are those in peat and sand? I would think that peat and perlite would be better. The best in my opinion is a 2:1 ratio of lfsm and perlite.

i think that is a ventrata, they can grow in any thing

From what I found online, keiki paste(99% sure I spelled it wrong) is some thing that orchid growers use to propagate plants.

Hi grew a lot in Hong Kong,very cheap there,just in hanging baskets guess climate helps had one great flower stork as hadn’t seen the seeds before through they hadn’t set.
