Guys, at what point the pot became too small for the nepenthes?

Usually the pot is too small once the roots start to be significantly constrained. If that pot is made completely out of that fiber, you may be able to know when the plant is getting rootbound as roots start showing through the sides.

Never. That is a Nepenthes Ventrata. I used to have a 5 foot Ventrata vine scrambling out of a 3x3x4 1020 pot. Nepenthes Ventrata is bulletproof. Enjoy your nice pot!

However I stick to my statement. Pot size for neps depends on what you want in the end but general rule of thumb is that the pot should be equal to the size of the plant

I don’t think that’s a ventrata, It looks different to me.
Oh wow... Seeing off my laptop screen shows that in fact, that, is not a ventrata! Don't worry. Same thing goes. I had a veitch 1.5 feet across with a 3x3x3 pot. For some reason the photos on my phone are much lower quality. I'm sorry about that.

I went away for college and grad school and and my mom, who is very afraid of hurting things when repotting them, took care of my high school plants the whole time. Had a probably-miranda live 12 years total in the (3x3?) pot it came in before repotting it in a bigger pot with fresh lfs.

It is alive and pitchering, if pretty stunted, despite spending literal years planted in mostly its own roots instead of medium.

I let my watering needs decide if i need to move up to a larger pot. In the Winter if a plant needs to be watered more than twice a week i move it up to a larger pot to have more media to hold more water. this has been working well for me.
