I have seen a Steak Cake, but never made one because they are expensive. The one I saw had slow smoked brisket for the base, 3 inch thick round steak cooked on a bed of salt for the middle, and filet for the top. Iced with garlic mashed taters. It was delicious!
However, the meat was over $400, so I'll wait for someone else to buy it for me before I make one.

Poor choice of video. I just grabbed the first one that came up. The guy in the one I shared clearly does not know what he is doing. Those steaks are an atrocious medium. They should be medium rare at best. And the assembly job is lousy. This is a better one

That second one looks better and much more affordable. But the use of Wagyu still kicks the price way up.
That Wagyu beef is really tasty though.
