Hello, I have my sarracenia for more than a half a year now and I noticed that instead of growing upwards it grows to the sides and doesn't hold up and it made me worried about what I am doing wrong 😭
(I still didn't figure out how to add photos here I am sorry)

Sometimes pitchers to flop over due to environmental factors, and other times it could just be because of the specific plant and its growth patterns. I have a sarracenia that has pitchers that flop over. It's just how it is.

It looks like it has some purpurea in it which is a flatter sarr. I am more concerned by the shape of the new leaves. How much sun does it get?

Yes, the pitcher to the right in photo seems more representative of what the pitchers should look like. Newer growth seems a little starved for light. Also, depending on where you are, the plant may be trying to experience dormancy and is being "forced" to grow. At any rate, the plant doesn't look that bad, just might need some minor adjustments!

Agreed! Definitely is lacking light which leads to "floppy" pitchers. Get a good artificial light or get it outside so it can get stronger light and it should produce much stronger pitchers.
