The summer here has suddenly reached the near 40C with humidity as low as 13%. I'm currently growing a Sarracenia Purpurea and an unknown Sarracenia. The new growth looks goods on both of them, except for their older growth.

I've put them on a spot that receives less direct sun now since I sensed that they might not be doing well for long. Will they be able to adapt to these conditions at some point in their lives? I'm planning to put them in their new spot for the rest of summer so they can develop some good roots.

If you can, give your Sarracenia sunshine from dawn until 2 or 3 o'clock, then indirect light afterward. That will still give then plenty of light and prevent them from getting blasted by the hot, late-afternoon sun.
