It can eat but it has a really hard time closing. Some traps seem to not move at all but it’s just a matter of how long you’re willing to sit there triggering the hairs.

Love this plant! It’s gotten a nice pink color to it now :)

Amazing flytrap! I like the alien shaped leaves it has. The cilia are wicked too. Hopefully we'll see more of this plant in circulation soon.

Hi Adrien, I just posted a pic in the Christmas photo contest that you might be interested in. I believe it is a sister plant to your BN from the same grower. Amazing to me how differently our plants are growing. Your plant is growing longer petioles and is dividing where mine has almost nonexistent petioles. The petioles are literally 1/4”-1/2” long with the traps being 1-1/2”+. The traps literally look like they are growing straight out of the soil. It is going to be a challenge to repot it. I didn’t know if it was okay to post photos up in your thread, but I thought you would enjoy seeing the plant. Here is a link to where I posted the pic: post371180.html#p371180

@EricF that looks great! Feel free to post any photos of the same cultivars in the thread title. It’s fun to see how different everyone’s plants are!

GJ Bloody Nurse got a repot and the rhizome was pretty hefty, 7 traps closed in the processes but it was kind of inevitable. The leaves were curled back around itself

Lol at this point I might start trading for sphagnum! Now that I sit and think about it I have way to many divisions  I want to keep 5 per pot and I have excessive amounts of small plants. I really need to sell and not trade because the traded plants won’t even have media to sit in
