I'm planning on planting vft seeds.

I know it takes a while, but i would like to know when do i start seeing signs of life.

Also can you tell me this, for

Sundews, cephs and cobra lilys? ( I didn't want to post to many topics so i'm just asking all of them here)

Germination time depends a lot on the conditions you give the seeds. For Dionaea seeds under ideal conditions germination can happen as fast as 10 days. I'd say 15 to 20 days is when most germination occurs if you provide good conditions (high humidity, warmth, good light).

There are nearly 200 species of Drosera, so you'll have to be a bit more specific about which species you'd like information about.

I have no experience with Cephalotus seed, but from what I've read, it takes quite a while to see germination. I think it takes around 2 months.

Cobra Lily (Darlingtonia) seed takes about the same amount of time to germinate as Dionaea seed if given the same conditions.

Completely for got about that, i was going to edit after i bought the seeds, but i for got to.

EDIT: I was wondering if any one can give me tips on growing the drosera carpa alba from a seed?
I already have the pot and the proper soil.
How moist to keep the soil, do they need a stratification period, ect...

Drosera capensis see are quite easy to germinate and they usually germinate fairly quickly (about 2 weeks). It helps if you have the humidity higher. You can achieve this by putting your pot in a large ziplock baggie. Open the bag everyday to mist the top and let in fresh air. Once you see germination, you can remove the pot from the bag.

If you're going to put the pot in the sun, don't put it in the bag unless you're sure that the temperature won't get too high and cook the plants. If you're growing them under lights, the baggie method works well.
