I'm on the other side of the pond, so this isn't a real entry because I'm not sure a gigantic VFT would enjoy the trip across the Pacific.

But this is the first time one of my VFTs caught something on it's own, so I felt the need to post it for show and tell...

Here's a Green Lynx Spider (Peucetia viridans) on my Sarracenia Daina's / Dana's Delight (from the flytrapstore - many years ago!) with a wasp. The spider was obviously taking advantage of insects being attracted to the pitcher plant (and caught other insects too) .

I know that, according to my own rules, posting a second picture disqualifies me, I had to share my glutinous B52.

How about a little big appetite? Here is a trap of an unidentified utric going to town on some single cell protists. I've got a video 9f the little suckered swimming around. It's hard to see them in a picture, but it's a photo contest. I might post a video somewhere else.Image

Just bumping this back to the top again. Only two weeks left in this photo contest. We already have some great photos but I know there are more of you out there to share a pic of your favorite CP chowing down. If you haven't already, be sure to scroll through this thread and vote for your favorite pics by giving them a thumbs up. Remember, a DC XL is on the line!
