In honor of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday this November, I think it is only fitting to share photos of our plants gorging themselves. So post your best picture of your plant, any species, chowing down. It could be a fly in the clutches of a curling cape or the dissection of an overly full sarr pitcher. The rules are the same as before.
[*]Post only one picture. Members who post multiple pictures, while we will enjoy seeing them, will be disqualified from the contest.
[*]Vote for your favorite picture by clicking the thumbs up button.

So for a big appetite, it is only appropriate that we have a big prize and this bad boy is big! Matt and Leah from the Flytrap Store (what you don't know who they are? Go to here right now! I'll wait.) are giving us a DC XL Venus Flytrap for first prize! The picture is not of the actual plant, I just pulled it off of their website (see above).

Get your entries in early. The earlier you are, the more likely you are to get the votes.

So what are you waiting for? Show us what you've got!

I'll get us started with a picture I call "The Last Supper" as this was obviously the last thing that this trap was going to eat. I would have liked to have a picture of when my trap got a baby toad, but, alas, I didn't take a picture. I give you now the demise of a Daddy Longlegs.

I got curious. This is the remains of dozens of wasps, hornets, Japanese Beetles, and a few June bugs from my biggest Ventricosa pitcher.
