Hi FTCF-

Could someone remind me what form of filiformis does not require stratification/dormancy?

Thank you!

The Red forms of D. filiformis (var floridana) comes closest to not needing stratification or dormancy.
The White Flowered form of D filiformis var. floridana is still flowering for me today.
I brought him inside when night temperatures dropped to 33 Deg. F.
The Pink Flowered form of D filiformis var. floridana did develop a hibernaculum when subjected to the same temps, so I think dormancy for him is optional, depending on local conditions.

But it will not hurt the plant if you do give it a short dormancy or stratify the seeds.

As always, this is just my opinion and my 02¢ worth.

I grow mine outdoors along with the other temperates filiformis you can treat it the same they do form a dormant bud eventually unless theres chance of freezing i would bring it inside might be more of an optional thing i agree.
