Hi FTCF-

I'm having a bit of a problem: My D. Capensis will not stop flowering! I let it flower ONCE this summer, which tired it out, but just as it started to recover, it sent up another flower stalk (which I clipped off), weakening it again. This repeats another three or four times, the most recent occasion being today. It apparently does not know or care that it will kill itself at this rate! (It's a plant, of course it doesn't.) How do I make my plant make more foliage and stop making flower stalks, at least for a while?

Feed it more? Enough light good conditions. Flowers do take some energy but usually if its well fed before it dont bother em much

I can't feed it because it spends all its energy on making flower stalks.

Yes, it's on a sunny windowsill w/ ~7 hrs of sunlight/day.

How does your other plants look is it only this one ? I wana say its a light issue they need tons of light. The light is what makes the dew not the humidity. Even tho humidity helps its not about that is light

That's really weird. My D. tokaiensis is actually in the shadow of another pot, and it's still really nice and dewy.
