Thank you to everyone who participated in Septembers photo contest - Your Collection. Here is the photo from the winner, Nepenthes0260
Image

This month will be a true test of photography as well as CP growing skills. Show us your best carnivorous plant, any species. This month's prize will be courtesy of Matt and The Flytrap Store. There will be more details to come about that, but you know the prize will be good. There are two rules for this contest. The first one is kind of obvious, you must take the picture. It doesn't need to be your plant, but you cannot grab something off of the internet and call it yours. The second is, You may only post ONE photograph. If you feel the need to share more, that is fine but you will be disqualified from winning. I think that is simple enough. So get out there and start shooting your plants. We want to see the best you can do.

Be sure to get your pictures posted early so you have a better chance of getting more votes. Ready? Set? Grow!

Edit: first prize has been identified and it is Alien courtesy of Matt and the Flytrap Store.

The P. Primulifloras in the back ground just so happen to be in the background, as they are in the same terrarium as P. x “Sethos” and several other plants. This was unavoidable. Please don’t DQ me. Thank you!

This is the first pitcher produced by my Judith Hindle since I've had it. I used to think the cultivar was highly overrated, but watching this pitcher develop has been a great pleasure. All of my plants are on the small side still, here's to hoping next year they'll flourish!Image
