I wonder if there will be some time in the future when one will be able to walk into their local hardware store and pick up a bical and a heli for $5 each.

Unlikely unless some tricky genetic manipulation happens to make them more tolerant of less than ideal conditions.

I wonder too. Aside from the places where these plants grow natively, it seems that most carnivorous plants will be considered too exotic for common commercial growth. I think it must do with the differences that separate them from usual houseplants. The water and soil requirements, along with the rate of growth of most Cps are too different.
