FlytrapCare Carnivorous Plant Forums

Hello, FTCF. Even if you don't think this is a great idea, just please hear me out. On a fish forum that I am a member of, we have a friendly contest monthly. Anyone who wishes to compete enters a picture of their fish or tank (there are two different categories), plus a caption describing it. I was thinking of doing this for our forum, but with carnivorous plants. What say you?

That sounds pretty cool. Do you have any ideas for themes or categories.

I was thinking "Best Bog", "Best Indoor Setup", "Best Individual Plant", or maybe even "Best Non-Carnivorous Plant"?

IIRC terraforums does something like this, but it's far less active so usually there are only one or two entrants.

We used to have FlytrapCare forum photo contests here! I got busy and distracted with life and haven't done one in a while now. I'd usually offer some cool plants as awards for the top 3 photos. I'd be willing to do it again!

I like the idea of having a monthly theme for the contests as long as the themes are general enough that it would encourage people to participate.

Maybe something like giant feast? A pic of a plant eating a really big or a lot of bugs?
