I have one really healthy trap that I have a duplicate of I was thinking about doing some leaf pullings on it before it goes into dormancy is that a bad idea for the health of the Trap 2 months before dormancy.

Also if I were to do this can the leaf pulling skip dormancy so that they have a better chance of propagation till spring? Everything would have efficient indoor lighting

As long as the plant is healthy, go for it. Try to get as much of the white part at the end of the leaf as possible. I have heard it recommended that you cut the trap off of a pulling when you plant it. Maybe someone could confirm or deny that.
It is just fine to skip a dormancy, just do your best to feed each traplet that you can. That will help persuade it to push through.
Good luck.
