Fridges don't use antifreeze so why add it. They can cool air using the refrigerant inside which by the way is actually a gas/light oil mix r134a. Also can cause major explosions when tampered with.

Just cause you’ve done something for 16 years doesn’t mean you haven’t been doing it right.

Clearly you cannot read instructions well, cause you can’t figure out what I’m describing for the life of you

No offense but maybe next time do some research before advising kids to tamper with lethal thing's. It won't look good on anyone on this forum and could ruin people's careers.

I know you didn't intend it that way.

I think you just need a diagram since you can’t picture anything without thinking I’m talking about popping a stupid refrigerant line.

Also, that joke about lighting a car on fire was a joke. I didn’t think I’d have to say it was a joke considering how obvious it is in this context but some people on this forum are so gullible

Ok copper2 well put it this way. If I suggested filling an aircon system with antifreeze I would of been sacked. Also nobody mentioned the car on fire.

Hi Sp0nser, your thread got derailed a bit but don't worry. The issue is that when you close up your greenhouse, you are concentrating the heat. When you put a fan in that now-hot room, you are just blowing heat around. If you want to have the greenhouse setup in the house, the easiest thing to do is to allow some ventilation in.

YES this will lower humidity, but you're stuck right now because you don't have a way to cool the air besides letting cool air come in.

You can open the greenhouse door and use plastic sheeting over the shelves, to trap some humidity near the plants, or otherwise bag the plants. It's not going to look magical, but it's better than cooking your plants :-) You may find that you can strike a balance with opening and closing the door as needed to cool it.

As usual adriana has knocked some sense into me. I've given my best advice for you i hope you solve your problems just try and keep things cool but keep humidity in mind. As long as humidity is kept near your plants inside the tent for now isn't an issue. Once you can find a way to cool things down e.g. have your tent nearer the aircon and feed air in you should be ok. Sorry about arguing on your post but tampering with fridges is honestly dangerous.
