I use 3 6500k 60w equivalent sunlight bulbs, i never knew windows filter out uv light which is useful to know. I think I've completely given up on growing them inside, I will try the shade cloth method while slowly transferring my plants to outdoors, I'm just concerned about how my low humidity and high heat in the valley might affect them, also would moving my pitcher plants outside also be a good idea to help them as well.
As long as the plants are sitting in a water tray the humidity and heat will not be a problem. Just harden the plants off to full Sun slowly. In dormancy they won't even need light when kept cold enough.

So that's roughly 9-10,000 lumens which is good for 2ft x 2ft grow space. Are you keeping the lights close to the plants? This is vital as every inch or so the lights are further back will reduce useable lumens by a huge amount.

Also I would personally give them a 16 hour photoperiod during summer. 10 hours is closer to winter photoperiod.

I think they're 60 watt equivalent bulbs, which means the setup is really only 20 to 30 watts. This would explain why the plants are so sluggish.

Ahhh. No where near enough light then. I have about 12,000 lumens in a very small area and plants are doing well but I expect they would enjoy even more light. Also i noticed the plants are in a terrarium. If the lights aren't directly over the top then the glass will waste even more light.
