I use 3 6500k 60w equivalent sunlight bulbs, i never knew windows filter out uv light which is useful to know. I think I've completely given up on growing them inside, I will try the shade cloth method while slowly transferring my plants to outdoors, I'm just concerned about how my low humidity and high heat in the valley might affect them, also would moving my pitcher plants outside also be a good idea to help them as well.As long as the plants are sitting in a water tray the humidity and heat will not be a problem. Just harden the plants off to full Sun slowly. In dormancy they won't even need light when kept cold enough.
