I ordered a Gigantea a few months ago and immediately noticed the difference in leaves from the two separate growth points. One has very narrow and smaller traps with hints of red while the other has broader all green ones and bigger traps. Fast forward a few months and curiosity has finally got to me. Hopefully a VFT sleuth can ID the other plant.

I'm guessing it's just an immature growth point from the same plant. If it's a different cultivor it will be "typical".

Uh oh! Looks like you have a Gigantea and a B-52 in the same pot!! Sorry about that It is very rare that we end up with having plants mislabeled, but it does happen at times when we have multiple plants uprooted and accidentally grabbed one on the table that wasn't what we were potting up in the moment.

To ID the plants, the Gigantea has the thinner leaf bases and the traps with better coloration. The B-52 has the wider leaf bases and the larger traps.

And, because it was id'd by the source, the extra isn't just a typical.

Dang and I had it backwards! I thought the thin leaf was the extra inhabitant.

Haha! Well, it was a mistake on our part, but the good news is instead of being a harmful mistake, Invasion_UwU_OwO_69_ ended up with two different cultivars for the price of one!!

A classic "B52" must be in everyone's collection. Can't go wrong with that one especially if it's free.
