Hi. I’m no new my old user name was Optimus prime but I couldn’t log in to my account so my new name is ironhide(if you can tell I’m a big transformer fan) anyway my vft has a flower stalk! This is my first time having one flower. So if anyone could tell me how to harvest,collect the seed and sow it that would be great! And yes I am aware the flower makes them sluggish(fine with me I have 3 more)

If you feed 2 or 3 traps when the plant is blooming, it really helps offset the energy drain caused by the flowers.

I highly discourage letting your plant flower. It uses a lot of the plants energy and the plant takes a while to recover after. If the plant isn’t doing well it sometimes aborts making seeds.

OK I’ll have to see I don’t want my plant to go into shock. Did you ever get those capillaries seeds so we could trade. I just got a water wheel plant when It gets bigger I can give you a cutting

I have harvested a few capillaris seeds but those will go to other trades. I’ll have more in a week or two though. Don’t let the flower stalk go to waste, stick it upright in the soil and you might get some baby plants.
