Is it normal for green shoots to grow out of my sphagnum moss medium? If not what actions should i take? Thank you everyone.

Howdy,

I ‘think’ I have the same little growth as you, but without your photo I am not sure. Here is a picture of mine, this was a Lowes rescue.
Not sure what it is but it hasn’t hurt my plant.

Those are grass sprouts. I recommend pulling them out. They develop large root systems and turn into a big nuisance. Matt says that if you let them grow, they'll take more and more water away from your plant.

Oh!! Good catch! They sure look like grass but I figured not since they came from a Lowes death cube. Interesting! Thanks!

There is currently a delay with the notifications. The last one I got was a full week after the entry.
