Howdy,

I ‘think’ I have the same little growth as you, but without your photo I am not sure. Here is a picture of mine, this was a Lowes rescue.
Not sure what it is but it hasn’t hurt my plant.

Those are grass sprouts. I recommend pulling them out. They develop large root systems and turn into a big nuisance. Matt says that if you let them grow, they'll take more and more water away from your plant.
