We rescued this little poor fella from a house we that we had to cleanout.
Super dry and shriveled, I put it in our bathtub and gave it a good rinse and kept repeating the process several times a day.

It just shows what a hardy plant phalaenopsis is. It has made an awesome comeback, reducing the water now to every other day until it has fully rehydrated. Then ill water as my other orchids.

Great before and after pics. Looks like a different plant. It will be exciting for you to see what sort of flowers it puts out. It's more fun than knowing the variety before it flowers. Good luck would love to see pics when it blooms. :D

YES!!! exactly! I love the waiting and excitement to see how the flower would be.
When it flowers I will post an update here for sure.

Yeah definitely do post it if you remember I'd love to see it. This is a phal that I found in a bin at work so didn't know what flowers it would yield now it's one of my favourites. Pics a bit dark but they are more purple they look kinda pink here.

Yeah I think the veins on the flowers makes it too. You wouldnt think from the pic but flowers are 3 1/2 inches in diameter nice and big. Good luck with yours hopefully see some flowers soon.
