Photos from 2018 were all taken using the Fujifilm X-T2 with either the 10-24mm lens or the 80mm macro lens. Earlier in the thread, I was using the Canon SX160 IS camera.

I don't remember anymore where I've read from but I can vaguely recall GardenWeb forums was one source I read from, so it might be the post you're referring to.

I finally got the courage to re-pot the Eden Black. It's been 3 and a half years since I last re-potted this plant and I can tell that the growth has been slowing down recently. I got 8 small divisions out of it as well.

It has been a little over 6 weeks since I re-potted the Eden Black and my plant currently looks like this:
The good news is, it has many new sprouting growth points such as these two:
Out of the 8 division pots I got from it, so far, 6 has strike and are showing growth point. This is the best so far showing an adult pitcher. I'm quite sure this division was the one with a really long root attached to it.
It took over 4 weeks before I started seeing any signs of new growth after the re-pot. Although I really do not like seeing the plant "reset" itself almost from scratch, I kinda expected it but did it anyways because I can tell that the old media is starting to take its toll on the plant's growth and health. I just wish it doesn't do this every time I have to re-pot it.

How often do you typically top water your Cephalotus? I know it can vary, just looking for a general idea? I just got some, and I’m trying to grow them on the dry side.

I don't have a set schedule for waterings but I do check them frequently. They are indoors and they typically end up having to be watered every 10 days. Sometimes 14 days. The divisions though I water more because I fear they might dry out for being so small. They get watered about once every 7 days.

8 divisions, so cool! How long did it take to make all those divisions and what size pot was it in before?

By the way, have you tried to take pullings? If so, were you able to get good strike rates and do you have any tips?

When I received the plant in 2016, it was still a very small division. So it took all that time to get the 8 divisions. A few years ago, I did try pitcher pullings but didn't have any luck with it. I tried to maintain them for as long as I could but it started growing molds after about a month. I would have preferred to use leaf pullings instead but unfortunately, the cultivar Eden Black rarely produces non carnivorous leaves once it gets to a bigger size. In the almost 4 years I have the plant, I think I've only seen 2 or 3 non carnivorous leaves once it was well established. The mother plant has been in a 6"x6" x8" tall square pot for most of the time I've owned it.
