Negative, even more endangered than that, and lives on granite cliff faces.

Recap.
Carnivorous.
Endangered.
The only known population is on near vertical granite cliff faces on a single mountain on a single island in Malaysia.
New clues.
It is a Nep.
The tendril that the pitcher forms on emerges about halfway down a rounded leaf rather than the end of a pointed leaf.

Affirmative, good job!
I researched for a rare cp and this came up. I was surprised to see that the latest count was in '95, and they only found 15 plants.

Do your think Berrybob.

Fantastic! This one is good.

1) Is proto carnivorous

2) It is considered a weed, and it is growing in my backyard!
