Rescued these 2 nice flytraps from Lowe's a while back. Left them in the LFS they were potted in, but put them in a bigger pot together. One is taking off like crazy, other one lagging behind and has a few pale, almost pinkish looking traps (see photo). Gonna rule out media or water quality, since they're both in the same pot. Pot is in full sun most of the day...Anyone seen anything like this?

It may be worth the repot. The rhizome could have been damaged when it was in the store.

I'd definitely repot. The smaller one looks like it may be variegated.

It looks to me like they both had a flower stalk. Some plants stall more than others after flowering. They both look pretty healthy to me, so I'd just keep giving them good care and let them grow out of it.

Thanks to ya'll for the advice! Will see how it plays out. If they look to be in real distress I will dig 'em up and repot. I'll try to remember to update.

Quick follow up from April.....did not repot. Both plants doing fine. One still much bigger, producing 1 inch long traps.

i got one from lowes last year, i just put in on full sun on day one and learned a hard lesson
