Hello, I have recently acquired some Sarracenia. I have planted then in my bog garden that is mainly made up of peat moss and silica sand with some lfsm and vermiculite mixed in. I have noticed that some of the pitchers especially the developing pitchers have started dying. The soil has stayed constantly moist except for a few days where the top 1/2 inch dried out. I am thinking it is just transplant shock but I wanted to know what you would think. It has been watered with rain water but some tiny grains of regular potting mix may have blown in but I don't think it would be enough to make a noticeable difference.
