I got it through the winter only to put it out one day last week to start bringing it out of dormancy and forgot to bring it in that night and the temperature went down to about 25 F and when I saw it in the morning the ground had frozen. 2 days later it turned into what you see now and has been like that for about a week. Any hope it will come back?

If the rhizome is still alive it may come back. But from the looks of it I'd say their gone.

Unfortunately, this looks very much gone. Check the rhizome to see if it's still white and firm.
