Hi everyone I’m really new to growing flytraps this is my first one and I absolutely love him. The sad news is I accidentally knocked him over I broke the terrarium and knocked off most of the traps :o so sad 😞.... he did stay in his pot although some soil did fall out over got him all back together and have put a glass vase upside down over him. Do you think he’ll be ok? Did I kill him?
Thank you for any help Or advice you can give me.

It should be fine. I did the same thing in January. As long as the rhizome is OK, it will just take a little for the plant to recover.

It broke the flower stalk- it's practically begging you to cut it. But I seriously would cut it. It takes a lot of energy out of the plant, possibly killing it. And is there a reason for the humidity dome?

Hi Tracy, welcome to the Forum!

There's a lot of of friendly and knowledgeable people here who can help you learn to grow VFTs. To start, have you seen this thread?

This might also be helpful (your dome looks very humid to me.)

Nope. They grow just fine (sometimes better) without. But you will want to slowly acclimate it to low humidity. If you just take the thing off it will kill it. Start by allowing 1-2 hours of air circulation today, and slowly increase it everyday over the course of the next 1-2 weeks.
