Is this a avocado? It was a big seed, my mom threw out in the garden and it eventually sprouted, I spotted it and toke it inside, put it into a pot, I want to know what this is! Please answerImage

Are you sure this is not a baby northern red oak? Because we have one that produced a butt load of acorns and it has this weird pointy leaf shape, I put a few in the ground and it looks weird, look at this picImage

From the picture, the leave looks spiky - if so it’s an oak tree no doubt about it. Here in CA, nobody picks their fruit laden citrus trees and recently I found two avocado trees growing wild...

They’re huge avocado trees. Just plant an avocado pit and you’ll have a good start. They should be grafted by the way with a good quality variety like Hass or reed. Need warm weather Too
