Yes, I know that they are common. Maybe you are new and don't have this one, maybe you want practice starting Drosera from seed to get ready for that opportunity to start a rare one only available that way, or maybe you just want a chance to be declared a winner. In any case, I just harvested a magnificent seed stalk from my capensis typical (original source Predatory Plants) and have lots of really fresh seed (harvested and packed 3/4/20). I don't need them, so you can have them if you win the give away. I made 4 packets, so there will be 4 winners.

Standard give away list, US members only. You send me an SASE that includes you member ID, what you won and your name/mailing address. That information helps me get the right seeds to the right person, as I am running multiple seed give away's at the moment. It is better for everyone if I spend my time growing, harvesting seeds and doing a few give away's rather than tracking down envelop ownership.

Nope, just giving people a chance to sign up. It's one thing to be disappointed when you don't win a contest with 20 entrants. Quite another to be be the only loser in a contest with 5 winners.
