Lusitanica is a small warm temperate ping from western Europe. It is an easy grower that gets to about 2" in diameter if grown well. Lusitanica is self fertile and readily self seeds. As such, it is a good beginner ping to get experience with starting pings from seed or just growing pings. It is regarded as an annual, as plants can die quickly after a few months. Removing seed stalks and feeding frequently seems to help them last longer, but advice is to always keep some new plants coming along. I have fresh seed from several plants, all previously seed grown. Grow in peat/sand mix.
Up for grabs is a packet of fresh seed from several plants. Normal give away form, winner selected in about a week. Continental US members only. I pay postage.
