FlytrapCare Carnivorous Plant Forums

Three years ago, the FlyTrapCare Community Seed Bank went into operation.
Since then, over 600 packs of seed have been sent out, giving many of you a chance to expand your collections at a reasonable cost.

I am grateful to all of you in the community who have supported this venture.
Kudos to Matt who gave me the cooperation and support needed to establish the Seed Bank.
I am particularly thankful to those generous individuals who have donated the seed to keep this project going.

It has been a joy to set it up, get it going, and mange the Seed Bank.

But it is time for me to step down.
Four years is long enough.

This will be my last year as head of the Seed Bank, I will hand over operations to my successor on Thanksgiving 2020.
Four years will be long enough.
I'm giving you a year to think about it and step up.

OK folks, who would like to take over?
It is a rewarding task, you're doing something that benefits the community.
As manager, you can run things your way.
You can take what I started and improve on it.

Thank you SO VERY MUCH Mike for coming up with the idea, implementing it and managing it so well for so long. The FlytrapCare Community Seed Bank has been an amazing asset for members of this community. I, and others, honestly can't thank you enough for all of the time and energy you put into giving back to others. You have my deepest thanks and gratitude!!

A huge shout out to you Mike. You started this from an idea. Got it up and running. Have managed it wonderfully. Such a labor of love. I truly hope someone steps up and can fill some pretty big shoes. Thanks for making fts forums seed bank so successful. You rock.

I see you as one of the biggest influence out there in the world of carnivorous plants with your knowledge and passion for them.
