I’ve given this sundew as much care as possible and I think it’s dying, at the bottom mostly. Should I move it to a bigger pot? Is there anything I’ve done wrong, I usually keep it’s water a good bit low but not too low, it gets distilled water, and still seems to be growing but is it dying because of me or is it just old? It gets loads of sunlight especially in the afternoon, but it’s not very humid, I’m in Perth, Australia. It sits on my window nearby my cactus and i sometimes even give it bugs ! How do I help it more, or is it dying naturally and I don’t need to worry? I don’t want to kill them :( ! Thank you so much anyway!

Drosera capensis live for many years if you remember the big 3, Lotsa Lotsa Lotsa Light, pure water, and nutrient poor acidic growth medium.

I might change the media and replant if I see a collapse of the plant.

But the Sundew will look a little ratty, tattered, and unhappy at some points in the year. (especially at the change of Seasons)

Even if they die back to the ground, if basic conditions are good, they will regrow from the roots.

A good web site for Drosera cultivation info is: http://www.growsundews.com
