If it has mites I would quarantine and treat with Avid.

In general though, it doesn't look out-of-the-ordinary for a late season sarracenia. By now most of the pitchers on mine are filled with bugs and they get those large brown patches from the decomposition of their meals. I know some people put cotton in their pitchers to avoid any bugs falling in and then the pitchers stay nicer longer. In my situation 90% of my sarr collection has only been with me less than a year, so I let them gorge themselves this summer and ruin all their pitchers (even supplementing their meals by pouring MaxSea into the pitchers) so that the rhizomes bulk up as much as possible and I get better pitchers next year.
