Hello it's me guzma and I require some assistance. It appears that my nepenthes has not pitched at all dispite the good lighting and frequent sprays of water any ideas as to why? :geek: :?:

What's your soil,once i used soil with bad drainage and my plants have stopped making pitchers (one still hasn't recovered)
So maybe it's that

Ah my soul is all sphagnum moss with some orchid chips s well as live sphagnum moss and I leave it sitting in a shallow tray

It can take some time for them to adjust and recover. I got some from CPN took months to pitcher. what type of nepenthes is it? some types are just fast growers like this boschiana on my dog kennel.

nice boschiana. its a bical I think. I have seen it and it was sold to him as a bicalcarata

No peat is really needed. I grow most of mine in sphagnum and orchid bark and only use peat on the garbage nepenthes like Miranda, ventrata, and gracilis since I don't want to water them as frequently.

If it's really a bical you're growing it would do best in lowland conditions - 75-85*F, 80-90% humidity.
