Hello,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but what does it mean if the flowers on pings wilt before they even open or even wilts shortly after opening.

Currently this is happening with my Mexican butterworts where they don't stay alive long enough to even get pollinated (if they even open at all!)

Thanks!

I had this happen with some of my pings and it turned out I wasn't giving them enough light and/or they need a little foliar fertilizing.

Ahh interesting, I did just (only a week ago) move them to an area with more light cause I felt they weren't turning pink like they did last year.

I'll see how this turns out and also give it some foliar feeding.

Thanks for the feedback.

They grow outside in San Diego. They are in a balcony facing East. Since there's a balcony above, they only get a couple hours of direct morning light. They sit in a tray of distilled water, but have been only refilling the tray once a week or so, allowing it to dry out.

But they used to get almost no direct sunlight, which is why I figured maybe it was the light.
