I occasionally leave some of my plants outside so they can catch their own food for growth, but today i found my purpuruea has been infested with some pest, does anyone know what they are and how to get rid of them?ImageImage

In my neck of the woods, this time of year is when I typically see more grasshoppers. My other guesses would be Japanese beetles or caterpillars, but I normally battle those early to mid summer. Grasshoppers is just a guess.

I don't treat for grasshoppers since they don't usually target my Sarracenia. I do get the occasional pitcher that's been mutilated by a hopper, but it's fairly sporadic.
