Note about Pinguicula nomenclature. I've re-organized the ping list alphabetically to group by species names including species names of hybrids and named cultivars. While this is a bit unusual, this gives me a better understanding of the hybrid/cultivar relationships to the various species. Varietal names are in square brackets and where given are the actual true cultivar name for the plant that I have. Where appropriate, the term 'reversed' as applied to a variety name means the plant listed has the same parents as the cultivar named, but pod and pollen parents have been swapped. Multiple 'reversed' types may exist, so creator/source becomes important for those types. Where the pod parent and pollen parent are the same as a named variety, but a new different cross of the parents of that named cultivar(and hence are not that cultivar by definition), I flag it as "alternate cross'. Multiple alternates may also exist. This information is not always available but I will make it as accurate as I can.
