Hi. I recently brought this drosera from a garden centre and have been keeping it’s tray wet with rainwater and I think it had an aphid infestation (white flecks) which I treated by immersing it in rainwater for 48 hours (not a fan of pesticides unless absolutely necessary and I read somewhere else that this can sometimes work)
I’m attaching a photo...
Just to note, the leaves had already started to turn brown, then I noted the white flecks. So should I pull the brown leaves off and re-pot it?
Also, should this chap be outside or inside. It presently gets the morning sun (when we have it in England!).

Thank you all for advice, it’s appreciated :D

Snip off the flower stalk, unpot it and clip all the dead/dying foliage and repot it in a fresh mix of 50/50 peat moss and perlite. It'll take a week or so to bounce back. You really have to try to kill Capensis.

Yes, outside in full sun would be best but Capensis can grow perfectly fine in a West or South facing windowsill.

What Ping said, plus you might want to consider a bigger/deeper pot or transplanting several of those into different containers. For me, capensis doesen't seem to mind being root bound and crowded but a little more room might be in order.

Thank you for your valuable advice. Can I ask, does it need to be constantly sat in water or just kept moist?
