Hello, I just brought these 2 lovelies from a reputable nursery today. Would someone identify the species of these sarracenias for me please? I am also concerned about the medium, because one of the plants pictures are turning brown at tips. Should I repot or is this due to some other cause? Please share. Thank you.
Plants present conditions:
Living in zone 7 indoors
Pots sit in 2” distilled water glass tray
current house temp 78
LED lighting 10-15 hrs/day

Thank you for your response. I am afraid to put them outside because my nepensis was growing outside and was eaten by grass hoppers or caterpillars or something else, while pitcher were present. It’s leaves were all chewed up. It was sad looking. I don’t have a greenhouse, which is why I chose the LED lights. Any other options? Thanks again.

WOW!!!! Beautiful garden!!!! Thanks for sharing. Who knows, maybe when I get more experienced, I’ll try my hand at a large carnivorous garden :-)
OK so outside they go! Thank you so much!
