Hello everyone! I have always been amused by carnivorous plants and I'm so happy that I have one myself! I was in IKEA and I bought one and I didn't expect to do well taking care for it, being my first time owning a CP, and despite being completely oblivious on what to do and how to care for it, I gave it a shot. I have had it for about 2 and a half months and it's super green and healthy . It is flowering and many people say to cut them off but I'm going to leave them on as my plant catches a lot of bugs on my windowsill when I have the window open . I used to give it tap water but I have realised that it is bad for the plant because of the minerals in it, so I now collect rainwater. However it now being summer, it doesn't rain as much here so I give it de-ionised water. My plant catches many bugs and I can't wait to give it a new pot when the seeds on the flowers fall so I have more plants. I can't wait for the future of my plant who I call Hugo!
