Hi everyone,

I live in the UK and my Venus flytrap lives outside on the front of the house facing south so it does get the sun all day. I've noticed the sprouts aren't as long as they were when I bought it from the garden centre and the mouths are overlapping, and more are growing as if it's out of control.

I've attached a photo of it now.

Can anyone tell me what I should do? Should I bring it inside?

Thanks,
Owen

Are you sure the smaller traps aren't divisions?

Your plant looks great, but I would immediately cut off those flower stalks, as someone else suggested.
Those garden center flytraps tend to clump out of control, but in a good way. You'll have a big bouquet of plants eventually. That'll happen even faster if the plant doesn't have to divert a ton of energy to flowering each spring.
