As much as I love CC, I do admit opening a $75 plant on the messy side like that would definitely not go unnoticed. Maybe they figure you'll repot, so it'll get a whole lot messier haha idk I try to be optimistic.

Only my capensis and Darlingtonia are worthy of live sphagnum:

A reasonable expectation, I'd say. My fav thing about CC, others may disagree, is how almost all my plants I ordered from them were trojan horses of other cp's. I got nine binatas with my Florida Giant! Ordered one d. multifida extrema, got seven of em, plus an Alba cape sundew. And of course, the ubiquitous, and always welcome bladderworts. It's great!

Haha look at that lil bundle of snakes crawling out the ground! I got my cobras from CC too. Great plants!
