Because spring and summer are the main growing seasons of most of my cp collection, at the end of each winter I imagine what new things I'll see in the coming months. Today, I experienced one thing I certainly did not imagine. As I stood before my open-front greenhouse, hail bounced around inside like ricocheting bullets. So far, I've noticed one tropical pitcher that was decapitated, and a few older scorpiodes sundews got knocked flat. Amazingly, no seedlings were harmed.
I'd actually just awoken from a nap, so I was quite confused at first. By the time I began to think of what to do, it was just rain coming down.
Now, I've only seen snow a few times in my life. Hail, even less than that. It was a strange experience, for sure. If I were the superstitious type, I'd be wondering why it hailed the day before my birthday..
