I think so.

Lambert's is just the brand that I use. It's got a lot of twigs and stuff in it. Other brands don't have that but most just work just fine.

The Canadian stuff isn't irradiated as far as I know of. The new Zealand and Australian stuff gets irradiated before arriving in the states. So I tend to stay away from anything from overseas.

As long as it doesn't have any additional chemicals or fertilizer if should work.

Im getting a pH meter to test the soil. Its ok if the pH is 3-3.5?
