Hello there,
I'm expecting some Cape Sundew seeds to be arriving next week, is there any advice on how to grow them? I am a beginner grower and I'm seeking some advise. :D I am so exited!!!

Matt's care & feeding pages for VFTs https://www.flytrapcare.com/also apply to D. capensis with the exception that D. capensis does not need dormancy and grows year-round.

Another good site is http://www.growsundews.com.

One quick addendum, depending on how small your plants are, you may want to to protect them from pounding rain, hail, or the various things Nature can throw at them. (at least until they're big enough to survive these assaults.)
I had some nice healthy seedlings once. I moved them outside and a strong thunderstorm washed them away into parts unknown. I never did find them.

Just my 2¢ worth.

The help stickies and how to guides are the best place to start.

As for feeding I use Betta flakes and pellets and since I have indoor seedlings from other plants fungus gnats seem to find there way indoors. So those help feed the sundews.

Cheap lunch containers work well as nursery pots. I use the shallow rectangle ones from Walmart. It helps to spread out the seeds. They can be divided using plastic pieces for multiple compartments. And with holes in the lids they help with humidity for germination.
