My Drosera Filiformis ssp Filiformis just came out of dormancy last April. It was outside last winter when it was dormant. Right now it’s turning black. Does anyone know why?Image

It is awake you know, and I am trying to save it. Then it stopped growing, and is rotting already, and even the new growth too.

It happened to my one year old Drosera intermedia, and I removed to prevent damping off on my temperate sundew seedlings, But I have intermedias that are one year old in the same pot of seedlings.

How's the drainage in that? That looks especially soaked. While they do like water, there's a limit. What the actual conditions now? Temp, light, etc..

Happens to all of my Drosera intermedia and happened to my D. filliformis when I had them. I just collect seed from D. intermedia and plant them in spring. My D. filliformis never flowered so idk I think it is either being too warm or too much water during dormancy that causes it.
